Legacy is the sixth set for the League of Legends card game, Riftbound, and the first set of 2027. It releases January 29, 2027 worldwide, with previews beginning at Convergence Fest in December 2026.

What Is Legacy About?
Legacy is built around regional identity. The six regions of Demacia, Noxus, Ionia, Piltover/Zaun, Freljord, and Bilgewater each have a presence in the set's cards and mechanics, with the goal of making each game feel like a clash between two regional playstyles rather than just two decks. It is also the first Riftbound set designed with drafting as a priority.
Pack Contents Update
Starting with Legacy, one Common card slot in each booster pack is being replaced with a slot dedicated to either a Legend or a Battlefield card at roughly 50/50 frequency. This means Legacy packs and all sets going forward will contain 6 Common cards instead of 7.
Showcase Legends and Battlefields are not affected by this change and will continue to appear in the Overnumber slots as before.
